    Mr. Abbot has been doing the foam boffer stuff for years now. We've had a number of fun arguments here with one of his admiring adherents.

    I AM going out on a limb here, but I can understand the idea! For using it to show people how it is with the Keiko in Kendo, not just "well, you have to use a whole semester of swinging this piece of bamboo first, THEN I can show you Keiko.."

    EDIT; But to TEACH it.. well, that's just over the top for me, IMHO.
