    Post Kenjutsu in Houston, TX?

Hello, and thank you. I'm new to the site and it seems the link in the sticky is broke.
I thought I might save some time and see if there was a school that trained especially in kenjutsu rather than kendo in the Houston, TX area.
Is there a school in or around Houston, TX everyone's raving about?

Again, I'd like to say thank you and I appreciate the time.

Inside Japan you won't find anyone raving about koryu kenjutsu (except maybe the members and usually not openly). Outside of Japan you'd be lucky to be anywhere near a legit koryu kenjutsu authorized practice.

Of the legit koryu which have websites that I have come across, Kuroda Tetsuzan-sensei's Shinbukan has an affiliate in San Antonio:

This particular school has movements that seem very unusual even to other JSA practitioners so if you go, keep an open mind as it's probably not what you are imagining.

If you search on this forum there are many discussions about what practicing koryu involves (usually a lot of travel and dedication).
