    Dojo Jacket

    Hello Everyone,

I am shopping around to order dojo jackets/warm-ups for our dojo members. Has anyone on the forum ordered dojo jackets before? If so, do you know any vendors (in USA or Canada maybe...) you can recommend? I'm particularly looking for the company that carries tricot jackets/warm-ups and does tackle twill and embroidery.

    Thanks in advance.

Obukan Kendo Club in Oregon ordered jackets a little more than a year ago. I think they were Columbia jackets that they had embroidered.

I have no advice to offer. But put up a pic when you do choose. Would love to see.

    Spring / Fall Jacket

These are great jackets that my members and I are wearing. They're for spring and fall, and are water/wind proof. Not super warm unless you wear a trainer or something underneath because they have just a thin lining.
We got them for less than $60 from a local distributor who also did the embroidering.
    Very nice!

Who did the local distributor go through? And that was $60 including the embroidery? Impressive if so.

We just did ours locally. They are soft shell jackets from Coal Harbour, I think lots of embroidery shops use that supplier.

We used Storm tech jackets, soft shell zip up, both for our club and regional team jackets. With embroidery they were about 65-70 apiece and the club jackets have held up pretty well over the last year or so.

I think ours are Storm Tech too. I'll have to look to verify though.
The local shop (not sure if they do outside of the area work, is call J&L Sports here in the Fargo, ND area.

We can get Storm Tech at our supplier too. Wish I had a good picture, ours turned out pretty snazzy.
