Giving a rep?

Very sorry but could you explain again how to give a rep?

Look at the lower left corner of the post. First you see "blog this post". To the immediate right of that, you'll see a six pointed star. Click on that, and you'll have the choice of "approve" (positive reputation), "disapprove" (negative reputation), and then you'll have the option of leaving a comment with the rep you are giving.
