Kusakura brand Kendo hakama and gi

Hi all,

I'm looking at purchasing my first hakama and gi. There is a local martial store selling a brand named Kusakura and was wondering if they are of good quality. He has both pieces for about $330 ($AUD).

Alternatively, there is a reputable online store selling the Shin-Gi brand...does anyone also know of this

I've never used KuSakura kendo gear, but I have several of their judogi which are top-notch. Having said that, I wouldn't spend that much money for a first set. Consult your instructor, I'm sure he can direct you to their recommended suppliers for beginners' gear.
