    Hakone taikai 2013 - list of participants

    The list of participants for Hakone taikai 2013 was published today in Hakone Jinja blog:

    Taikai will be held on May 28.

    I read it as Miyazaki Kentaro as well.

    I'm glad to see a few familiar names on there. I had the pleasure of training long term with last years winner during my time in Yamaguchi, and subsequently met this years Yamaguchi rep, Shibata Sensei through introduction. Really friendly and excellent iai. Also had the chance to train with Koyama Sensei and Ono Sensei in Okayama 2 years again. Again both great Sensei and all round gentleman. Good luck to them all.
