Kendo in Japanese media - why not in the english language versions

The WKC just made me wonder about something, the English versions of Japanese media like Daily Yomuiuri / Mainichi /Asahi cover baseball, soccer, sumo, tennis etc but almost never other budo beyond sumo....

Is it because they belive the English speaking community in Japan has no interest beyond sumo, or is it the world wide audience so they dont bother to translate them?
