    Tort Speed,maybe you are speaking of Edwig Soldati, if I remember correctly he is a student of Pomero sensei (team italy coach), a quite famous jodan player (Pomero sensei taken his 7th dan doing jigeiko in jodan)

    It's hard to see on the video but I saw i IRL and I can't recall that I had any doubts about that particular decision. That doesn't mean that I remember it right though...
