...that guy is a genuis and couldn't be more helpful - he knows his stuff. I hope we all keep ChibaBogu in business to keep this craftsman working... he really makes an effort with his products he makes or mends...

Sorry for the necromancy but I just wanted to bump up the thread after receiving my Mine kote from Chiba Bogu yesterday. Right of the box they were stunning! The deer leather scent was stronger than I thought it was going to be and they fit perfectly. I've been spending my post-Thanksgiving days trying to break them in. Up to the actual delivery I was getting a little anxious waiting for them so I sent an email asking for an update and they graciously answered the next day. They've been extremely helpful in answering my questions and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to use them in practice this week!
