Need Help with Chinese and Microsoft

I have a friend who owns an embroidery company and will embroider anything I'd like on zekken... The problem is, it would be a lot easier if I can use the fonts on Microsoft word\office...The limited fonts that software offers in chinese and hanja, for example is very limited to a text style "new time Roman" font....

Does anyone know of how I can download or modify it so the characters are more "artistic"?

If you want to modify the font to make it look more "artistic", you'll need a font editor like fontlab. Font editors are almost always never free, plus editing fonts is a real pain in the backside unless you know what you're doing.

The easiest way would be to download a suitable font, but the good ones usually come at a price.

    Sorry I'm not much help.

Hmm...why not just talk to a friend who has Chinese Windows?

If you have Windows XP...you can type in Chinese, Japanese or Korean...When in the Korean mode, you type in a name in Korean and click the Hanja button and it will come up with the Chinese equivalant. So you Koreans can find your name in Chinese....

not always because for each korean character/pronunciation, there are about 20 chinese characters, so u have to go through all of them...
