That game was horrible. At least it wasn't actually trying to be like the movie.

I've heard of that anime as well.. But it was based somewhat off of that crappy videogame. It's a bunch of "Samurai robots." I read about it in an issue of Animerica, I think that was the name.

Peacemaker Kurogane is good. Haven't seen a lot of it, but what I did see I liked.

    Thumbs up

The remake of the greatly acclaimed "Seven Samurai" by Akira, was remade to a Anime (which I'm watching and it's VERY good), called "Samurai 7". The theme is beyond our world perhaps it was, but it's not noted, and somehow some of the many samurais found a way to mechanize their bodies, as well as bandits (who mechanized their bodies to big robots [so it seems]) as a small town is raided every time they harvest their rice, they decide to hire samurai to deal with thier foes in return - free rice

I've never seen the movie, but I am looking for it as well Saw it on Amazon, might get it

    SUGOI!

The anime Samurai7 really dissapointed me. Most mecca anime dissapoints me. The only exception being Dai-Guard. But yeah, peacemaker was VERY good. It's also intresting for all of the Kenshin fans becuse you see both sides.

Also, speaking of the shinsengumi: http://d-addicts.com/forum/torrents.php

There you can download NHK's shinsengumi and other great shows. Their is also another on Musashi!
    Enjoy :-p

folks...just to let you know that there was a "remake" of the 7 samurai a few years ago, in 1998, and it was called "A Bug's Life".

if you don't belive me, just watch both movies again.

    project

ps : even if you do belive me, you should watch the two movies again with that in mind.
