Kendo / Gom Do in North Korea

Excuse me if this has been asked before.
I have notticed that one of the users on this forum, Will, is living in North Korea. If this is truely the case, I am kind of directing this to him. But anyone with any knowledge on the subject please contribute.

Basically I am wondering about the popularity, style, freedom to practice, quality, etc. of Kendo or Gom Do in North Korea. Does anyone know anything about it?

(I think my perspective on North Korea is warped by the propaganda I received after spending a year just south of the DMZ on the East coast of South Korea. I am surprised that Will can even use the internet, to be honest.)

Anyone with any knowledge, please share! Thanks.

    I also speak english.

I'm actually more surprised that people in other parts of the world have the internet seeing how our great leader Kim Jong-Il invented it. I wouldn't share this technology with you heathens.

Gotcha. Kim Il-Sung was the Great Leader. Kim Jong-Il is merely the Dear Leader. The knock at your door is the Thought Police.

apparently you didnt get the memo. kim jongil recently dropped the "great leader" title in lieu of a more politically sensitive image that shows the world he's not a crackpot deified inbred leader.... right.

I meant that I thought it was surprising that you were allowed to use the internet. Anyway, I had my doubts that you were actually in North Korea, but I didn't want to offend you if you were.

Regardless, does anyone know if there is any Kendo or Gom Do going on in North Korea?

What are you talking about dropping it? That is not a title you can drop, it's always gained, and through his efforts he created lightening, the automobile, nuclear power, fed thousands of children, and have made our economy the most powerful in the world. He DESIRES to be called Great Leader

obviously you didn't examine that site well enough for I am a resident of North Korea and that's a california site, so alas, I cannot use my secret ninja skills (like flying) to cross the pacific ocean every day to practice there.

You cannot teach Kendo in North Korea. It will be next to impossible for you to even visit there.
