Visiting Kyoto in December

Would anyone have information on where I can buy a naginata in Kyoto? Actually two, one for my wife and one for myself.

I do know what to look for as far as quality, just not where to look.

This will be my first trip to Japan and at the age of 41 I want to get some of the things that here in the US are at best, second rate.

Try Matsuru near the Kyoto Budokan (In the big street near it).
Might wanna check with the Kyoto Prefectural Tourist Information center near the station for the exact address.

They have them for a quite good price I think.
