    Hanten or Haori?

ok, this is a stupid question, but what is the difference between a hanten and a haori? Sorry about the bother, but I didn't know where to place this thread. which would you prefer if you needed one?

A hanten is more of a workmen's jacket, and mine has writing on the back. it also has no himos, and to me, the sleeves are a little shorter, and not as baggy as a haori. haori also have himo to tye the front into a ball like thing. ^^; I have a shinsen Gumi hanten. I joke that i'm for hire to kill people for the Shinsen Gumi.... But yeah.
    Peace and Love.

Depends on why you need or want to wear one. Are you going to some occasion or festival. The haori is good.
