Post up the links dude!
Over the last few days I have been surfing the part of the web that is more known as kendo blogs. And, my, I could never have guessed there would be so many!
Although I have been a blogger from time to time I have never really had anything to write about...but now I was inspired! So I have just started up a blog to be used solely for iaido/kendo training purposes!
During a period of time I was very good at taking notes after practise...but I have sort of got out of habbit. Now my hope is that my new blog will fulfill this need.
Anyway...where I am really going with this post is I would like to ask how many of you guys have blogs dedicated solely to kendo/MA? And are they a help for improving or just a social thing?

And I forgot again...some that I found and was inspired by:

http://mingshiwan.blogspot.com/
http://www.geocities.com/kendosuburi/index.htm
http://oniken.exblog.jp/
http://www.isenokami.com/
http://usagikendo.blogspot.com/ (though I don't understand a word)
http://katsumotomoritsugui.blogspot.com/

See link on bottom.
my blog is not 'dedicated solely' to martial arts... i do post a lot about kendo BUT, i think it would be boring as hell if that'd be the case. bloody boring for my family and friends who are the main readers, and who are not all fond or knowledged about MA or kendo.Originally Posted by Solinde
but i do participate everynow and then in a community of bloggers from live journal who do kendo...

Okay, I see that now. Sorry. I just have this habit of not looking any further when I don't understand a word on the first page of a blog.Originally Posted by Usagi San

I was actually trying to make one, but I didnt get to finish it. But now that I realize that there are a lot of people that have a kendo blog, I should make one as well.

If you are decent at css I can give you the code I used for my site.. it is pretty simple.. it just has add/edit posts and ability to comment (and moderate comments.. these features are on an admin side)
I code mainly under the GPL so i don't mind letting you use my code (it is in php and requires a mysql database)
Only thing you would really have to change is the css to get it to look different. Both www.brandon-san.com and www.elementalinfusion.com are using my same (php/mysql) code, but look totally different.
Well it wont necessarily be just about kendo itself.
