Paikea, thanks for the offer and I'll take you up on it if I'm ever in your area. In retrospect, I'm glad I was able to give you guys a good laugh. Now that I've learned my lesson, I'll be sure to be more carefull in the future. Till the next great escapade!
What do you mean, Minnesota?? Did/do you live here? Your profile says Pennsylvania.(Sp? Lazy right now...) What Kendo dojo do you belong to anyway? There are only 4 in PA that are AUSKF. Which? *curious* Or, did you start in my dojo? Minnehaha, that is. Or, Rochester? Couldn't be Carlton Kendo Club, since that's a new club just started this year. They are not on the AUSKF pages yet, they are so new. There is no Kendo dojo in your town that is listed on the AUSKF or Kendo America websites.

If you're from my dojo, and moved recently, I wonder if I met you.

Just wondering... Please excuse my curiosity.

No prob. I live in Penn but I go to Carleton College and belong to the Carleton Kendo Club. We actually just got listed on the AUSKF site. I thought I mentioned this in some other thread but oh well. Mugu said she'll come and visit once we start practices again in a few weeks so if you want you could probably join her. We might be hosting a seminar before the MW taikai but we're still just talking about it with Hokkyokusei and Voss sensei.

Oh, I see! I was really confused at first! That's great the club is up and running so well now and on the AUSKF site finally.(Vos-sensei told me about Carleton Kendo Club last year.) Now I have 3 dojos to tell people about in Minnesota(For my dojo list.) I didn't have the contact info for Carleton yet.

Oooo, Mugu-san is lucky! I'd love to visit, but you guys are WAY far from me. I am lucky if I can make it to my own dojo.(Which is also Mugu-san's.) I can now only go once a month. Golly, that is killing me... I love going so much! I live 2 hours North from our dojo, and since I can't drive, my Mom drives me.

Hey, if there's a seminar, I'd like to know about it as soon as possible please. I'd need to arrange for transportation, and figure out where I'd stay. I haven't heard anything about it from Voss-sensei yet. I guess I'm going to have to ask him.

Here's our website. I'm in the process of updating it so if you check back in a month or so it should have the latest info (as well as being easier to read).

Bummer. Well, if you ever get the chance, please do come by. We love having visitors!

Sure thing. We won't begin planning and discussing until Carleton starts back up in a few weeks but I'll definitely let you know.

At my dojo, if we lose a shiai, we have to commit seppuku. But it's ok, cos not one of us has lost a shinken shobu yet.

I've yet to learn my "top-secret" waza, but when I do I cant wait to tell everyone about it!
