Titanium men worth the extra cost?

I just got a second-hand men, and on first putting it on, it feels very comfortable. It's got a steel mengare, and it doesn't seem very old. I guess through sheer luck my eyes are at exactly the right level (never seems to happen with club armour!)

Can anyone tell me what the normal weight for a small men is? My head (chin to back of crown) is 67cm.

That being said, I do like the quality and service I get from eguchi. As has been mentioned before, Lisa and the rest of the staff are very customer-oriented and kendo knowledgeable. If you don't want to drive down to LA/Torrance (especially with gas crossing the $3/gallon threshold)...

Just so you don't have to make the drive, I'm fairly confident that eguchi doesn't have a regular storefront, as I found this out by experience when I was visiting my parents in SoCal Their address took me to a condo complex in Torrance, and unfortunately I didn't have the address or directions to head towards the e-bogu werehouse which is also in torrance...

Was a 90 mile round trip too, felt so dumb...
