Exclamation Worried about Kendo Quality in other Country

Well.. i was reading some online articles.. but it says that.

Some 20 year old Chinese Student studied Kendo for 2 years in Beijin Kendo Club.. (hmm so newbie..)

and went back to his own home city and opened up a Kendo Dojo and started teaching.

I seriously wonder the Kendo quality and teaching in developing countires..
Some places do occasionaly hire Hachi Dan from Japan to visit instruct, but that is not all the time.

I've also heard somewhere that in America some Dojo were so outdated that they were still practicing pre-war era kendo (freedom bashing.) Also those Karate places and Ninjitsu places that would also teach Kendo.

Dont get me wrong , but I think at least 2nd Dan level Kendoka can be allowed to instruct beginners, and at least 4th Dan can Teach.

    Do You agree?

You really have to consider the available options.
All areas are not blessed with having their own kendo-version of Mr Miyagi to start up schools.
So what is best: Not having people training at all, or having people training for somewhat unexperienced lowranking kendoka?
I would go for the second option, without hesitation, since I am sort if in that position. I am taught by a 2 dan kendoka and a 1 dan iaidoka, and it works very good. There are plenty of camps and such where one can practise under higher grading sensei.

So no, I don't agree with you.

If someone does that, they can do so. If they want their dojo to be a part of the national kendo federation, that's up to the country's federation to allow them or not.
So, I'm not worried and don't care. If someone is a member of a dojo that is not affiliated with the nation's kendo federation, you won't see them at shiai and whatever else that is associated with the national kendo federation.

Although i agree with H2O in taking the second option, training camps wouldn't exist as an option in developing or third world countries unless you're rich, which normally isn't the case.
