I'd go so far as to say that it's a awesomely nice looking do! I love it! Am I right in thinking that the detailing (yellow) is embroidered? Nice!

Hahah, sure I do! It's just that I needed to add the Kendo World forums to the allowed list of hot linkers, which I'd forgotten to do

Had to start whitelisting because I was getting mad hits on bandwidth because of a few cartoon images, which were being used on many fora.

Cool Susumu Takanabe Sensei in Portland, OR.

    S. Takanabe Sensei, who just won his 2nd straight AJKF title, took the time to instruct in the Pac-NW this past week as part of an AUSKF sponsored tour (thank you, AUSKF!). This is Sensei and myself after the last day of keiko.

Quite excellent. A lot of emphasis on commitment and zanshin (at least, that's how it seemed to me). Good drills, too, although the actual ji-geiko was short due to the number of people, but that's only a small complaint. I'm honestly still surprised the PNKF and Obukan got to host him. I'd love to hear how his California trip went, after seeing the pictures.

My wife joined us recently, to shoot some pics of 2012's first class

Learning the basics of kata 4 from my class buddy.

    Confering with a class mate.

At the far right, practicing the basics of fumikomi.
